I know personally not drinking enough water daily can lead to more serious health issues, I had my first surgery from a gallbladder attack caused by multiple gallstones ,at a very early age. I did not like to drink water at that time at all!
Hydration Options with Foods
All in all, on my weight loss journey, I discovered how important Hydration & water is for a healthy weight loss success too.
In an article in Costco Connection, I ran across a section under,” Liquid Life” by Dan Jones (DJ). Hydration options can be obtained by eating foods, if you don’t like drinking a lot of water at once, he stated.
Here are a list of surprising hydration options!
- Oatmeal-the oats expand and absorb water
- Low fat or fat-free mlk
- Fruit and smoothies [eat or blend watermelon, peaches, blueberries, strawberries, grapes ,grapefruit and other juicy fruits, to help increase hydration].
Vegetable and salads: some great hydrating additions includes, celery, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, and spinach.
