HELLO WORLD! I have been on a weight loss journey since the pandemic and a bit before. With a mindset change of a “lifestyle change” verses a “on a diet” mentality.- It is important to compare different ways to stick to a routine and change some old habits.
For instances I tried a Plant-Based Diet, Meat less Mondays. I gradually substituting my sweets or junk foods for more “colorful” and variety of fruits daily. To sneak in more vegetables, I like an all veggie pizza and a side salad for lunch, if I’m eating out.

Now the Mediterranean Diet. I will discuss below. This was a recent handout I received. To start following and try to make this “lifestyle eating changes.
WHAT IS THE MEDITERANEAN DIET? A traditional cuisine in Italy, Greece, France, Spain and a few other countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
The Mediterranean Diet is mostly plant-based eating plan with fish, nuts, and olive oil.
The diet is rich in vegetables, healthy fats, and lean protein and provide various recipes that will make your weight loss transition feel seamless.
