TIP #1; TAKE ONLY CASH TO THE STORE.

Leave all debit & credit cards at home. When you take only cash you will spend only cash. Taking your cards with you will encourage impulsive purchases. Even when you are filling your car up with gas for the work week, take cash.

3 Tips to stop Bad Habits of Spending money; I know it takes about $50-$60 for a full tank of gas in my car, when its less than a quarter tank of gas. So, get to know your car and exactly how much cash you will need to take with you for a fill-up. I can’t stress it enough to take cash only.

TIP #2; INVENTORY THE MONEY YOU HAVE WASTED

Just looking around your house do you have a million and one DVD’S you may have only played once or twice-or never at all? This is definitely wasted money.

Did you know by visiting your library that they have movie rentals? Just sign up for a local library card. Give them a try for a movie you may only watch once.

TIP #3; SET A GOAL

I have read up on an article that emphasize goal setting. By writing goals down and meditate on them often, you will most likely will accomplish that goal.

Then, what is your goal? Do you like to take a family vacation next year? Perhaps, you want to get out of debt, you have accumulated over time.

Whatever your goal-remember as you start to make that purchase. Do you really need to get that item? How do you feel after that purchase?

If you feel guilty of using that money than rather save for that specific goal you set- most likely it was a bad decision.

Just remember these 3 TIPS to follow & to keep you on track and getting those bad habits under good control once and for all.
